Pete Levy SWAc is a Bristol based figurative painter and BAFTA winning television producer whose work explores storytelling through portraiture and narrative led oil painting.

Drawing on more than two decades as an award winning television producer, including work on productions such as Black Mirror and Doctor Who, Pete brings a strong sense of visual storytelling to his paintings. Gesture, light and composition suggest narratives that remain deliberately open, capturing moments that feel cinematic, intimate and slightly unresolved.

Working primarily in oils, Pete was elected an Academician of the South West Academy of Fine and Applied Arts in 2026. His recent work has been selected for the RBSA Portrait Prize and the RBSA Annual Exhibition, and he was featured in Artists & Illustrators magazine as its August 2026 Featured Artist.
